What was it like without a job?

I had many sleepless nights wondering how I was going to pay my bills. I had no money and at times it was hard to even think straight. It also lowered my low self-esteem

What was looking for a job like before you came to Pyramid?

It was very frustrating. I went to several other agencies to seek help in finding a job, but I was always treated very rudely and never received any help in finding a job. I came to Pyramid and it was like breathing a breath of fresh air. The staff was very kind to me and treated me like a human being. They did not look down on me. I was given the help I needed in finding a job and it’s because of Pyramid that I have a job today. I am now able to pay my bills and able to keep a roof over my head. Pyramid in my opinion is the BEST employment & training agency in Chicago.

I was hired by Gate Gourmet as a Food Prep worker.

What are your plans for the future now that you have a job?

To do the best job that I can and hopefully be promoted to a higher position.
